Great Mic!

Love this microphone. It sounds smooth as butter. I think what was promised was right on the money. Vocals sound really good.

I like it. Hey Mic-y!

For the price point, this mic is really impressive. I have a pretty good cabinet, but always yearned for an 87. I just couldn’t justify the cost. Right out of the box the DA87 immediately gave the feeling of the U87s I’ve recorded on in other studios. I no longer have to be jealous, and I have an extra couple grand in my account.

Excellent!

My voice loves a vintage U87 in the studio, now I can get the same smooth sound at home with this mic. I figured I try it since they had a money back guarantee and now it’s my favorite mic in my locker. I didn’t think I’d be able to achieve this kind of sound without spending a ton on an actual vintage U87, but I’m able to achieve the sound using this mic through a Neve preamp. I was using a Neumann TLM 103 or an AT4060 and they worked pretty good, but this mic is way better and to me does sound like a vintage U87 as they claim. It has a great classic look as well. Couldn’t be happier, great job Dachman Audio!

I haven't used it yet. Been away from the studio. Will give you my review sometime this summer. It looks great and I was impressed with 2 different style clips.
